Why I'm Running
I'm Not Just Running for a Seat—I'm Running for Our Children's Future
As a father to Myra and Yug, I've seen firsthand how education shapes not just academic success, but character, confidence, and opportunity. Watching my children grow within our school system has been both inspiring and eye-opening.
Showing Up for Every Student
I'm running because I believe in showing up—not just for my own kids, but for every student, parent, and educator in Ward 4. I want to be a voice that reflects our community's diversity, values, and aspirations.
Vision for Equity and Collaboration
My vision is rooted in equity, transparency, and collaboration. I want to help build a school division where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Empathy and Accountability
I envision a school board that leads with empathy and accountability—one that listens first, acts boldly, and never loses sight of its mission: to prepare our children not just for exams, but for life.
My Foundation
Integrity
I will always act with honesty, transparency, and ethical leadership in all school board decisions and communications.
Collaboration
Success comes through working together – listening to all stakeholders and finding common ground for the benefit of our students.
Innovation
I'm committed to embracing new ideas, technologies, and approaches that can improve educational outcomes for all students.
Accountability
I will be responsible to our community, measuring success by student achievement and overall educational excellence.
